I'm guessing the paper is going to spark a few citations and arguments. He's going to stick with USC, and he's got some symposia and conferences scheduled out of town. The degree is in higher education administration, but his research was about determining the point of diminishing returns in the number of subject matter experts in a cognitive task analysis: economics applied to ed psych. He knew virtually nothing about ed psych and figured "this might be fun." So he talked the ed psych people in the School of Education into advising him and letting him take the appropriate coursework. Thanks. Datsa my boy!
