I’ve seldom seen anything funnier than the reaction of the religious right to this story. And believe me, the religious right can be plenty funny.

Although some of the articles are straight from The Onion (I commend to your attention rightpundits.com and godandculture.wordpress.com), the real hilarity is in the comments. There are people in the comments who make the Church Lady look like Audacia Ray. And I’m pretty sure there are some mainstream Christians and maybe a few nonbelievers throwing a cat or two among the chickens to watch them flutter and squawk.

A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
